Burglary - Franklyn Crescent

Good morning,

Police are appealing for witnesses following 2 burglaries in Franklyn Crescent during the early hours of Sun 26/07/2026.

A lone male wearing all dark clothing with his hood up was seen walking around the area between 04:30 and 06:00am. He broke into an empty property by smashing a rear window, and attempted to prise open the window of a second address but was unsuccessful.

Police are appealing to local residents to check their CCTV footage for anyone matching the description walking around the area that morning.
